RED LAKE FALLS MAYOR BERTILRUD INFORMS RESIDENTS THEY WILL CLOSE CITY OFFICES

Red Lake Falls Mayor Allen Bertilrud said the City will close city offices in a letter to Red Lake Falls residents.  The letter is below –

Dear Red Lake Falls Residents:
We have entered into unprecedented times in the world. Every day we are experiencing new directives from State and Federal leaders. At the City, we are trying to be very vigilant to make sure all our residents are safe.
To maintain social distancing of 6-feet, our city office will be closed to the public beginning on March 18. To pay your utility bill, use the USPS or the outside dropbox. If you pay cash, please put it in an envelope with your name and use the outside dropbox. Please call the city office if you have any questions as we will be available to assist you. Also, the public library will be closed but they will be there to take calls 253-2992 to assist patrons checking out books. The city arena is also closed at this time.
To assist residents through this time, the city website at www.redlakefalls.com will continue to keep you updated when we have new information. For public works issues, the on-call cell phone number is 218-688-3435. City offices are staffed Monday-Friday from 8:00-4:00 and that number is 218-253-2684.
Now is the time our community can come together and help out our neighbors. Please remember our elderly and check to see if they need groceries, medications or even a phone chat. During all of this, remember we can still go outside, go for walks and let kids play. We don’t have to stay indoors at all times; we just need to keep our six-foot social distance. Don’t forget to wash your hands!
Again, if you do have concerns or questions do not hesitate to call us at City Hall.

Mayor Allen Bertilrud
