Author Chris Ingraham made headlines when he wrote a national article declaring Red Lake County, Minnesota the “worst place to live in America”. When the community challenged him to visit their community, he flew to Minnesota for a surprise visit, and will now share the story of how, impressed by the locals’ warmth, humor, and hospitality, he and his family decided to relocate to the town he had thought the worst in America.
Ingraham will visit the Crookston Public Library to share the story of his family’s big move from his new book, “If You Lived Here You’d Be Home by Now”. His appearance is scheduled Wednesday, September 25 at 6:00 p.m. and is open to the public and is offered free of charge.
