RIVER BACK ABOVE 20-FEET, EOC IN FULL OPERATION, SANDBAGGERS NEEDED AT 518 RIVERSIDE

As of 12:30 pm today, the Red Lake River level at Crookston was 20.11 feet. With the current rain levels and expected rain throughout the weekend, the Crookston
Emergency Operation Center is fully operational and will monitor river levels,
levee systems, and future weather predictions.
If the Red Lake River level reaches approximately 23 feet, Ward command posts will re-open and will start monitoring the levee systems. The City of Crookston will commence sandbagging Riverside Avenue as conditions dictate.  The Tim and John Menard home on 518 Riverside is in need of sandbaggers.  If you can help them sandbag around their home stop by.
We are reminding residents to please stay away from and off of the levee systems and temporary clay/sandbag embankments.
For additional information and/or to report any high-water concerns, please call the Emergency Operation Center at 218-281-4363 or 218-281-4383.
