Traditionally, the RiverView Auxiliary Board of Directors awards a $500 scholarship to a RiverView Employee who is interested in furthering his or her education and commitment to healthcare. The recipient of this scholarship has been chosen by a committee of Auxilians based on essay answers and announced, Clarissa Simonsen, LSW as this year’s winner.
Clarissa (pictured left) is a licensed social worker at RiverView Health and has already received her Bachelor of Science in Social Work at the University Of North Dakota (UND). She is continuing her education at UND in the graduate program. She has worked at RiverView since May of 2022. She plans to graduate with her master’s in social work from UND in August of 2023.
