Dr. Kari Wessman, OBGYN, delivers a lot of joy into the world as a provider at RiverView Health. It’s common to see her name listed as the delivery provider for many births in Crookston.
However, her name on another RiverView list is getting her recognition this time, the Employee of the Month (EOM) list. Dr. Wessman was recently surprised with the EOM award for July.
Dr. Wessman has been providing gynecological services at RiverView since 2009. In her Crookston and East Grand Forks practice, she offers a variety of women’s health services, including health screenings and treatments for problems like irregular bleeding and irregular Pap smears. In 2019, she added obstetrics services – the field of study concentrated on pregnancy, childbirth, and the postpartum period to her practice.
A Crookston native, Dr. Wessman is certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. She graduated from the University of Minnesota Minneapolis Medical School and the University of Duluth School of Medicine. She completed her residency at Oakwood Hospital in Dearborn, Michigan.
