It’s hard to put your best foot forward when that foot or ankle hurts! Don’t let common conditions like plantar fasciitis, bunions or arthritis slow you down. Learn ways to improve your footing at RiverView Health’s Tuesday, October 30 health luncheon, “Help for Your Aching Feet’’.
Minor foot and ankle problems are not uncommon. Most of the time our body movements do not cause problems, but it’s not surprising that symptoms develop from everyday wear and tear or overuse. Toe, foot, or ankle problems can also occur from injuries or the natural process of aging.
Attend RiverView’s health luncheon to listen to RiverView Podiatrist Dr. Bethany Staehnke share ways to treat and prevent these common issues. Dr. Staehnke, a Crookston native, joined RiverView this summer, although she previously worked at RiverView in a variety of positions and interned with Dr. David Peterson. As Dr. Peterson works toward retirement and helping his former intern transition into her new role, Dr. Staehnke is building her practice with clinical interests in sports injuries, biomechanical pathology, arthritis injuries and flat foot deformities. She treats all ages and focuses on patient education. She practices in both Crookston and East Grand Forks.
