Motorists will need to be aware of a temporary road closure Saturday, October 23, 2021, on University Avenue in Grand Forks for the University of North Dakota Homecoming Parade. The closure will be in place from approximately 9:30 am to 11:30 am, or until the parade is completed.
The Cities Area Transit- Bus routes 1, 2, 5, 8, and 9 will be detoured during the parade along University Avenue. The routes will resume their regular routes following the completion of the parade.
The parade will start at 10 a.m. beginning at the Gorecki Alumni Center and proceeding down University Avenue utilizing the North Lane and ending at North 25th Street right before University Park.
