On Wednesday, September 5 at approximately 3:27 a.m., Polk County Sheriff’s Deputies were dispatched to a report of a burglary of an occupied residence that had just occurred in rural Lengby. Upon arriving on the scene, deputies learned that a male suspect had entered the residence and shortly after fled. The victim identified the suspect as Todd Alan Bergerson. A search of the area was conducted by Polk County Deputies and the East Grand Forks K9 Unit, but the suspect was not located.
