KROX received a tip that there is currently a scam being emailed throughout the community requesting gift cards to be purchased on behalf of Father Vincent Miller at Crookston Cathedral.
Father Miller confirmed this is a scam. “In the midst of all of this somebody got a hold of some of our email lists and is sending out on my behalf a request for, I believe, eBay gift cards,” said Father Miller. “Please know that that’s a scam. And everybody out there knows that we miss you and again, don’t be drawn into this scam. Sorry that you had to deal with that at this time.”
