SEMI, COMBINE INVOLVED IN FRIDAY ACCIDENT IN RURAL CROOKSTON

On Friday, September 20 at approximately 4:28 p.m., the Polk County Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of a motor vehicle accident involving a semi and a farm combine at the intersection of 210th Ave SW and 250th ST SW in rural Crookston Township east of the City of Crookston.

Upon investigation, it appeared that the semi struck the header attached to the combine. Both the semi and header sustained severe damage.

Gerald Michaelson, age 65, was driving the combine. Eduardo Aguilera, age 25, was driving the semi. Aguilera sustained minor injuries in the crash and was transported to the hospital by private vehicle.

Assisting agencies included the Crookston Fire Department and Crookston Ambulance.
