SEMI-TRUCK ROLLOVER IN GRANDFORKS

On Thursday afternoon at approximately 12:28 PM, officers of the Grand Forks Police Department were dispatched to 4326 Gateway Drive (Loaf and Jug) for a semi-truck and trailer that had rolled over onto its side in the gas station parking lot. The semi-truck is owned by Knudson Farms and was hauling a load of sugar beets.

The driver of the semi-truck was 32-year-old Steven Clapsaddle of Grand Forks. When the driver entered the gas station, the fully loaded semi-truck tilted onto its passenger side. This caused the load of sugar beets to spill onto the ground. There were no injuries because of this accident. Steven Clapsaddle was cited and released for reckless driving and care required.

Anyone with information or who may have witnessed the incident is encouraged to contact the Grand Forks Police Department.

The Grand Forks Police Department would like to thank the Grand Forks Fire Department for their assistance on scene and Interstate Towing in the cleanup process.
