The Crookston High School Homecoming festivities kicked off on Sunday evening with the Powder Puff flag football game at KROX Radio Stadium.
In the first round, the Seniors beat the Freshmen 48-18, and the Juniors beat the Sophomores 36-24.
In the Championship, the Seniors and Juniors had an exciting game. The Juniors tied it as time expired and were going to have a chance to win, but one of the senior players was injured. The seniors didn’t want to continue, and after several minutes of discussion and an injured player, the game was called, and the championship ended in a 12-12 tie.
