The Crookston High School Seniors were crowned the 2021 Homecoming Volleyball tournament champions this afternoon inside the Crookston High School gymnasium. The gymnasium was packed as students watched fellow classmates participate in the event.
The teams were divided by age group down to freshman, and the winners got to take on the CHS Staff in the championship match. Instead of playing to a set number, the matches lasted nine minutes long with running time.
The Freshman defeated the Juniors in the first round 18-13, while the Seniors took care of the Sophomores 15-13. The Seniors then defeated the Freshman 24-10 before taking down the staff 29-18 in the championship match.
