Sharon Erickson, 56, Ada, MN, died September 9, 2019 in her home.
Sharon Darlene Erickson was born on November 5, 1962 at Wesley Hospital in Wadena, MN, the youngest of 11 children to Raymond and Marjorie Erickson. She was raised on the family farm north of Bluffton and took on additional responsibilities when her mother died when Sharon was 15 years old.
After graduating from New York Mills High School, she worked as a CNA for many years and then at the Cenex in Ada until health issues forced her to retire.
She loved reading, sports and NASCAR. Especially, NASCAR. The family knew that during a race was not a good time to call her!
She is survived by siblings: Duane (Jessie), Sun City, AZ, Gerald, Cass Lake, MN, Eldon (Alice) Ramsey, MN, Marlyce Long (Derry), Bozeman, MT, Rodney (Kathy) Cass Lake, MN, Royce (Shelly) Minneapolis MN, Curtis, Wadena, MN, and Janice, Grand Rapids, MN. She was always interested to hear about her family and delighted when a new baby joined the family
She was preceded in death by her parents Raymond and Marjorie Erickson, a brother Greg Erickson and a sister, Loretta DeHamer.
Celebration of Life Service: 11:00AM, Friday, September 13, 2019, at Fredrikson-Ganje Funeral Home in Ada, MN.
Visitation: Friday from 10:00AM to 11:00AM at the funeral home.
