SHAYLA AZURE AND ZAC PLANTE ADVANCE TO STATE SPEECH TOURNEY

The Crookston High School Speech Team competed in the Section 8A Speech Tournament in Fosston on Thursday, with two students advancing to the state tournament.
Shayla Azure and Zac Plante competed in duo interpretation together, receiving 3rd place and advancing to state. Brandon Wandrie also advanced to finals in original oratory and received 6th place overall. Also competing was Lily Olmstead in storytelling.

Azure and Plante will now compete at the Class A Speech Tournament in Shakopee on Friday, April 19.
