Sara Sibley, portrayed by Connie Hannesson, the wife of the first Governor for the State of Minnesota visited Mrs. Stegman’s sixth-grade classroom Friday. She told the class about how she met Governor Henry Sibley and their life together.
The presentation also included other facts about Minnesota that were happening around that time. The sixth-graders at Highland Elementary are learning about Minnesota history including State Government.
