SOYBEAN AND CORN UPDATE MEETING TO BE HELD IN NEWFOLDEN, DECEMBER 5

The Marshall County Soybean & Corn Growers Association is sponsoring a soybean and corn update meeting along with their annual meeting on Thursday, December 5, 2019 at the Community Center in Newfolden.

Speakers and topics include Bill Craig, Ag Service Director for Marshall County, ‘2019 Variety & Research Trial Results for Marshall County’; Introduction of Seed Company Representatives; Heidi Purrington, U of MN Extension Educator, ‘Waterhemp and other Weed Pests’; Dennis Egan, President & CEO of Epitome Energy, ‘Soybean Crush Facility Update’; and Betsy Jensen, Northland Community & Technical College – Farm Business Management, ‘Demand Driven Market Outlook for 2020’.

Registration at 8:30 a.m. with coffee and rolls. The meeting at 9:00 a.m. and lunch at noon sponsored by the Marshall County banks.
