SPECIAL WAYS & MEANS COMMITTEE FOLLOWED BY REGULAR COUNCIL, WAYS & MEANS MEETINGS MONDAY

The Crookston Ways & Means Committee will have a special meeting on Monday, January 27 at 6:30 p.m. in the council chambers at city hall.  The only item on the agenda for the special meeting is a mortgage release for the Crookston Inn which was recommended on Friday by the Crookston Development Policy & Review Committee.  If the Ways & Means Committee agrees with that recommendation, the release will be added to the Council agenda at 7:00 p.m.

The City Council agenda includes a Mayoral Proclamation for Catholic School Week January 26 through February 1.  There is also a resolution to appoint Dylane Klatt to the City Council for Ward 6.  The consent agenda includes approving the minutes from the January 13 meeting, approving bills and disbursements totaling $300,611.64, receiving the report for and calling a public hearing for 2020 street improves, appointing candidates to boards or commissions, accepting a bid and awarding project for the Gentilly Bridge river access, and a resolution to approve the Council’s committee composition for 2020.

The regular Ways & Means Committee meeting agenda includes approving the January 9 and January 13 meeting reports, reviewing the residential trash and recycling collection services proposal, a staff recommendation to complete LED lighting replacement at the Crookston Sports Center for $48,495, a discussing on sidewalks for a street project, and a discussion on the mayoral appointment process.
