STELLA DUDEN AND T.J. SANCHEZ CROWNED CHS 2022 HOMECOMING QUEEN AND KING

The Crookston High School held its annual homecoming coronation on Monday afternoon in the High School Auditorium and crowned Stella Duden and T.J. Sanchez as the 2022 homecoming queen and king.

The king’s court included – Tanner Giese, Jaren Bailey, Jack Doda, T.J. Sanchez, and George Widman.

The queen’s court included – Libby Salentine, Stella Duden, Hannah Brouse, Carly Brown, and Abby Borowicz.

When asked how it was to receive such an honor, Stella was surprised to have been chosen out of the many qualified candidates. “It’s honestly crazy,” said Duden. “I wouldn’t have ever expected that I would’ve won and that the majority of the school voted for me. So, it’s a pretty cool experience.”

T.J. Sanchez also spoke about the honor and expressed his happiness in being chosen by the school. “I’m quite happy. I had a feeling I might win, I know a lot of people, and I’m a funny guy,” said Sanchez. “There was a lot cheering out there. I had a good feeling I would win, but it was pretty fun, and I’m happy and quite excited about it.”
