1st Quarter

Smith had a tremendous answer on the next play as his line created a nice-sized hole, and he scampered 82 yards for a touchdown for a 6-0 lead one minute into the game.
Park Christian had two incomplete passes and a one-yard run before they had to punt the ball. After a 34-yard punt,
Stephen-Argyle started their second drive at their own 38-yard line. Smith started the drive with a 15-yard run. Jaydon Woinarowicz follwed witha. 14-yard run before Smith added a 10-yard run and then an 11-yard run as the Storm had four first downs on the first four plays of the drive. Two plays later, Woinarowicz scored on a nine-yard run, and he also ran in the two-point conversion for a 14-0 lead less than four minutes into the game.

Park Christian had another three plays and a punt before Stephen-Argyle answered with a seven-play drive of their own sparked by an 11-yard run by Darby Benitt. A few plays later Smith ran in from 19 yards out for another touchdown for a 20-0 lead. Park Christian finally got the offense going on their third drive of the game with a touchdown after they started using the passing game to move the ball down the field. A Logan Giese two-yard run capped the drive, and after the two-point conversion was good, they trailed 20-8 with 51 seconds left in the quarter.
Stephen-Argyle took any thought of a Park Christian comeback away as Smith ran for five yards before the Storm’s Shay Setterholm found a wide-open Woinarowicz for a 71-yard touchdown pass, and after the two-point conversion, the Storm took a 28-8 lead into the second quarter.

2nd Quarter
Park Christian started the quarter with an impressive 11-play drive that was stalled when the Storm defense made a big fourth-down stop to force a turnover on downs.
Stephen-Argyle’s first offensive play of the quarter was a two-yard run by Smith before they handed the ball off to Woinarowicz, who got to the sideline and hit the afterburners and blew by everybody for a 73-yard touchdown run after the Smith kick was good. The Storm led 35-8.
Park Christian was moving the ball down the field on their next offensive possession, but Stephen-Argyle’s Dylan Widner intercepted a pass to stop the drive, and the Storm didn’t waste any time finding the endzone again. After a penalty, Smith ran for five yards before Shay Setterholm found a wide-open Pagnac for a 67-yard touchdown pass for a 41-8 lead with 3:27 left in the half.
Park Christian responded with a nice drive spurred by a face mask penalty that added 15 yards to the end of a play. Giese scored on a 15-yard run to get within a 41-16 deficit with 50 seconds left in the half. 50 seconds proved to be too much time as the Storm only took five plays to go 55 yards, and Pagnac scored on a 15-yard run for a touchdown with 2.5 seconds left in the half, and the Storm took a 47-16 lead into halftime.

3rd Quarter –
Park Christian started the second half with the ball and had a big 41-yard pass to Nathan Peterson. A few plays later, Giese scored on a nine-yard run to bring the Falcons within a 47-22 deficit.
The Park Christian kick went out of bounds, and Stephen-Argyle handed the ball off to Smith who ran for 65 yards on his only carry of the second half for a touchdown and a 53-22 lead.
The Storm’s Shay Setterholm intercepted a pass that set up a drive that was capped by a Kellen Johnson one-yard touchdown run for a 59-23 lead halfway through the quarter.

Park Christian answered on their ensuing drive with a David Pettis touchdown run to get within a 59-30 deficit.

4th Quarter –
Both teams went deep to the bench in the fourth quarter. Stephen-Argyle ran as much time off the clock as they could while handing off the ball to eight different backs in the game. They also used several quarterbacks and were able to take a knee for the final play of the game to finish the regular season with a 50-29 victory.

Stephen-Argyle ends the regular season with a 7-1 record, and the Section 8 9-Player playoffs begin on Tuesday, October 22. Stephen-Argyle will be hosting a first round game. Park Christian drops to 4-4 on the year and will start the Section 6 9-Player playoffs on Tuesday, October 22.
