Steven Joseph Lanctot, 73, of Crookston, died of natural causes on Saturday, September 20, 2025, at Sanford Hospice House in Fargo, ND. Steve was born July 14, 1952, the son of James R. and Marcella (Ricard) Lanctot. He grew up in Crookston and graduated from Central High School. Steve was self-employed most of his life in Construction.
Family members include brothers Mike and Shereen Lanctot of St Cloud, MN and Tom and Glenda Lanctot of Hallock, MN; sisters Julie and Larry Perleberg of Jamestown, ND; Jana Lanctot of Jamestown, ND; Lisa and Vern Gustafson of Erskine, MN; Sandy and Jack Pint of Crookston, MN; Tracy and George Ruggles of Jamestown, ND and Kelly and Brian McWaters of Wahpeton, ND and sister-in-law Sharon Lanctot of Crookston. He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Rodney and Robert.
A family service will be held on Sunday, October 12.
