Steven Kenneth “Steve” Briggs, 59, of Crookston, Minnesota passed away Sunday, June 5th, 2022, at Altru in Grand Forks, North Dakota. Steve was born in Crookston, Minnesota on July 9th, 1962, to Kenneth and Muriel (Michaels) Briggs.

As a child, Steve lived in Council Bluffs, Iowa, and Minneapolis, Minnesota for a short while before the family returned to Crookston, Minnesota where he grew up. Steve continued living in Crookston and the surrounding area as an adult, except for a short while when he lived and worked on a Ranch in Montana. He was a down to Earth Country Boy who loved the simple life and enjoyed having fun with friends and family; especially around a campfire. He always gave more than he took and was always willing to help a person in need. He was a man who could not sit still and always had a project going. He was a hard worker who would do any job to take care of his Family. Steve loved fishing, camping, hunting, being outdoors, and spending time with his family and friends.

The world lost a Great Man; Steve is going to be deeply missed by all his Family and Friends and will always be loved.

Steve is survived by his Daughter Jessica Briggs of Crookston MN; Granddaughter Dakota of Crookston MN; three Sisters Diana Blokzyl of Crookston MN; Gail Briggs of Ada MN; Brenda Olds of Sebeka MN. He is also survived by many Nieces, Nephews, other Family members, and Friends
