STRATHCONA MAN OUT ON BOND ARRESTED FOR POSSESSION OF METH, AMMO IN TUESDAY DRUG BUST

On Tuesday, February 25 the Pine to Prairie Drug Task Force along with the Marshall County Sheriff’s Office executed a search warrant at the Brent Gerald Jevne residence in rural Strathcona in Marshall County.  Agents seized approximately 71 grams of methamphetamine, multiple items of methamphetamine paraphernalia, a digital scale, and numerous rounds of ammunition. 

Jevne was arrested and is currently being held at the Marshall County Jail on charges of:

  • Count 1: 1st-degree possession of controlled substance (MSS 152.02.1(2)) with a maximum sentence of 40 years imprisonment, a $1 million fine or both
  • County 2: Possession of Ammo or any firearm with a previous felony conviction (MSS 624.713.1(10)(1)) with a maximum sentence of 15 years imprisonment, a $30,000 fine for both.

On October 10, 2019, the Pine to Prairie Drug Task Force had executed a search warrant at the Jevne residence in which agents seized approximately 65 grams of methamphetamine, $781 in U.S. currency, 13 firearms, numerous rounds of ammunition, and multiple items of drug paraphernalia. 

At the time of the February 25 search warrant, Jevne was out on a $25,000 cash bond for the same charges.
