Polk County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to 21475 300th St SE in rural Erskine for a reported structure fire on Monday. Upon arrival, deputies found a residence on the property to be engulfed in flames. The cause of the fire is undetermined at this time. The structure appears to be a total loss.
The State Fire Marshall was contacted and will be investigating the cause of the fire. No further information will be released at this time.
