The SUMMIT will host a series of events for National Assisted Living Week September 9-13. The theme for the week is “A Spark of Creativity”
Monday 9/9: Wear Pink or Red
2:00 – Mary Bratrud will be here with her quilts and coffee/coffee cake will be served in the 3rd-floor dining room.
Tuesday 9/10: Wear Yellow
10:00 – Craft with Melissa Groven, she will also talk about her Etsy store in the activities room.
2:00 – Yoga with Betty Finkenbinder in the activities room.
Wednesday 9/11: Wear Red, White & Blue
10:00 – Daycare kids chalk project out in front patio area (weather permitting, may be moved to activities room).
2:00 – Lois & Lois and appetizers in the 3rd-floor dining room.
Thursday 9/12: Wear Purple
9:30 – Carol Solheim will be making lefse in the activities room.
2:00 – Sing-a-long with Sue, Cleo, Joy, and Jerry in the 3rd-floor dining room with wine tasting, cheese, and crackers.
4:00 – Kay Hegge discussing the history of some of Crookston’s buildings in the activities room.
Friday 9/13: Wear Green
7:30 – 8:30 Made to order omelets for Summit tenants and staff in the 1st-floor dining room.
10:00 – Cathy Forgit will be here with her weaving in the activities room.
1:30 – Mary Jo Cournia will do a project with succulents in the activities room.2:30 Root Beer Floats in the 3rd-floor dining room.
