TACO JOHNS IN CROOKSTON UNDERGOING REMODELING PROJECT

If you have driven by Taco John’s in Crookston, you have probably noticed the construction and remodeling that is being done to the building.  Both the inside and outside of the building are being remodeled.

“We are hoping to be open inside by August 2.  It’s looking very promising, however, it may not be with our full seating,” said General Manager Renee Voss. “Our seating package is actually what is taking the longest, but the inside is going to look completely different when the job is complete.”

The dining room will be repainted and have new tile, booths, bar stools, and much more. The outside will also look much different upon completion and will feature a new paint job and bigger windows to bring in more light to the restaurant.

The drive-through is fully open for business, and Voss says they’re ready to serve the public. “The hours are the same through the drive-through, and even though we don’t look open, we absolutely are,” said Voss. “Hopefully we can get everything back inside here and see everyone again before Ox Cart Days in August.”

Current hours are Monday-Friday 6:30 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. and Saturday-Sunday 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. Voss hopes people still stop by this summer amid the remodeling. “Stop on by, we are open outside, and you can sit at the picnic tables. We do take care of those” said Voss. “Our windows will hopefully be in next week so that it will look a little more functional and open then.”

The full menu is available, including a few new deals that have just recently been added. “We have our new value menu out now, as well as our new fried chicken tacos,” said Voss. “It’s a new Chicken item. It’s delicious, and we also have coupons coming out July 5 for our new chicken and breakfast.”
