PARK BOARD SUPPORTS PLAYGROUND EQUIPMENT PURCHASE FOR ALEXANDER PARK

The Crookston Park Board met Monday night and after approving their September meeting minute they passed a resolution approving a $29,000 equipment purchase for Alexander Park, the last of the City of Crookston’s parks to get updated playground equipment.  The City of Crookston received over $15,000 in savings through their purchase group and fall sales.

PARK BOARD GETS OUTDOOR RINK UPDATE, AWARDS GRANTS AND TOURS PARKS

The Crookston Park Board met on Monday night at City Hall.  The agenda included one item and a bus tour of the city’s parks.  An item that was not on the agenda was an update from Parks and Recreation Scott Riopelle on the outdoor rink plans for Alexander Park that the board approved in April.
