CROOKSTON GIRL’S SOCCER FALLS 3-1 AGAINST HIBBING-CHISHOLM

The Crookston Pirate Girl’s Soccer team allowed two second-half goals in a 3-1 loss against Hibbing Chisholm in a non-Section game played on the Crookston High School Soccer Field. Hibbing-Chisholm struck first in the fifth minute when Ashley Ciochetto scored giving the Bluejackets a 1-0 lead. Crookston tied the game at 1-1 when Sophia Sanders

CROOKSTON GIRL’S SOCCER HAS BIG DAY WITH FIRST WIN AT WALKER

The Crookston Pirate Girl’s Soccer team won their first game of the season behind a hattrick from Cassie Solheim beating the Walker-Hackensack-Akeley Wolves 6-0 in a Section 8A matchup played in Walker.  Crookston’s offense wasted little time setting the tone with a penalty kick struck into the net by Makenze Epema nine minutes into the match.
