Highland Elementary 5th and 6th-grade students competed in the regional Math Masters of Minnesota Challenge in Bemidji. Students competing were Asher Wieland, Nathan Pahlen, Hamsini Chanda, Eva Gosse, Keziah Mason, Abby Lane, Peyton Demarais, Jayde Uttermark, Sylvia Christensen, and Mackenzie Ness. These students competed individually and as teams on eight sets of mathematical problems in this competition
A total of 44 youth from the Crookston area participated in the 39th Annual Crookston Lions Youth Golf Tournament at Minakwa Golf Course in Crookston on Monday.
