WARROAD POLICE OFFICER CHARGED FOLLOWING BUREAU OF CRIMINAL APPREHENSION INVESTIGATION

An officer with the Warroad Police Department has been arrested and charged following an investigation by the Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension (BCA). Joshua Mathew Demmerly, 29, of Warroad, was charged this morning with kidnapping, third-degree criminal sexual conduct, and stalking. BCA agents arrested Demmerly on Tuesday. He made his first court appearance this morning

THREE IDENTIFIED IN BECKER COUNTY DOUBLE HOMICIDE, SUICIDE

The Ramsey County Medical Examiner’s Office has identified three persons found deceased on Monday in a home in Becker County. Emma LaRoque, 28, of 26494 Beaver Trail, Unit 197, in rural Ogema, died of suicide due to a gunshot wound. Her children have also been identified. Shane Woods, 9, same address, died of homicidal violence.
