The Section 8A One-Act play competition was held at Kittson Central High School on Saturday and Bagley High School, once again, won the competition. Director Marilyn Hood and students performed a play titled “Journey to the World’s Edge”. Bagley will now advance to the State OAP competition at St. Catherine University, St. Paul next week.
The Crookston Drama Department won first place in the One-Act play subsection competition held in Crookston yesterday with their performance of “Brian the Comet.” Four teams competed, and Ada-Borup was the other team placing with a second-place finish. The Crookston High School will be holding performances of their One-Act-Play “Brian the comet” this upcoming week, on Monday, January 24 at 7:30 p.m., and then again on Thursday, January 27, where they’ll be competing against four other teams in the subsection.
