BISHOPS GIVE CATHOLIC PARISHES PERMISSION TO RESUME PUBLIC MASS BEGINNING MAY 26

The bishops of the dioceses in Minnesota, including Bishop Michel J. Hoeppner, Bishop of the Diocese of Crookston released a letter to parishes that the dioceses would permit for the resumption of public mass at 33 percent occupancy beginning on Tuesday, May 26.  Bishop Hoeppner responded to a request for comment with the following statement

BISHOP MICHEAL HOEPPNER PLACES FATHER BRYAN KUJAWA ON ADMINISTRATIVE LEAVE

The Crookston Diocese and Bishop Michael Hoeppner have placed Father Bryan Kujawa on administrative leave for his conduct, including “boundary violations,” according to a statement from the Diocese.  The conduct is described as non-criminal and non-sexual in the statement.
