The Crookston Third Grade Girls basketball team went 2-1 and finished consolation champs at the Thief River Falls tournament on Friday. Crookston lost to Roseau in the first round game, but bounced back to beat Warren-Alvarado-Oslo and Badger/Greenbush-Middle River to win the consolation championship. The students at Our Savior’s Lutheran School has been celebrating National Lutheran Schools Week this week. There are over 2,000 Lutheran schools across the United States participating with the main theme for the week. The theme is Joy: Fully Lutheran, they learned, played, and grew together through many different lessons and activities throughout the week.
