CHARGES POSSIBLE IN REPORTED ASSAULT AT CROOKSTON CARE AND SHARE

On Sunday, February 10 at approximately 10:50 a.m. the Crookston Police Department was dispatched to the Care and Share at 220 Third Street on a report of an assault. American Crystal Donates $5,000 to Care and Share

American Crystal Sugar Company presented the Care and Share in Crookston with a check for $5,000 on Monday morning. Care and Share has around 22 men who share one bathroom with two sinks, two stools, and two showers.  The plan is to reopen another bathroom with two sinks, two urinals, one stool, and one shower.

Crookston Lions Club Helps the Care and Share

The Crookston Care & Share has a new men’s dorm in its facility set to open this week.  Care & Share staff along with members of the Lions gave guided tours of the facility and the new eight-bed dorm to members of the community.  The Lions also provided residents and guests with a free meal

CARE AND SHARE RECEIVED NON-PROFIT TRAINING

Five area organizations recently completed a two-year intensive training program called Vital Nonprofits. The mission of Vital Nonprofits is to invest and build the long-term sustainability of the region’s nonprofit organizations through targeted and intensive training, assessment, technical assistance, peer learning and coaching opportunities. This training was provided by the Northwest Minnesota Foundation through workshops
