City of Crookston Mayor Guy Martin visited the 2nd Grade Class at Cathedral School this week to tell them about his role and responsibilities as mayor. The 2nd graders are currently learning about Community Government and Citizens.
Cathedral School turned RED overnight in preparation for Giving Hearts Day, Thursday, February 14th. Cathedral School is participating for the first time in this year’s Giving Hearts Day. Cathedral School had some very special guests come to school Thursday. Cathedral School Alumni, Dr. Taylor Biermaier, DVM and her husband Nick taught students a bit about Veterinary Medicine. This was one of the activities planned to celebrate Catholic Schools Week. The week concludes with the Annual Mardi Gras Fundraiser on Saturday, February 2.
The Crookston City Council breezed through their agenda Monday night in a meeting that lasted just a few minutes.
