RED LAKE RIVER DOWN TO 23.13 FEET IN CROOKSTON, ALL SERVICES REMAIN THE SAME

As of 4:00 pm today, the Red Lake River level at Crookston was 23.13 feet and is continuing to slowly recede.  All services remain the same and the Crookston Emergency Operation Center will continue to monitor river levels, levee systems, and future weather predictions. CITY OF CROOKSTON TO SUSPEND SANDBAGGING FOR NOW AFTER LOW LYING AREAS ARE COVERED

As of 8:00 pm, the Red Lake River level was at 26.92 feet.  Sandbagging and clay dike operations have been or will be complete in vulnerable low-lying affected areas.  Sandbagging volunteers and efforts are being suspended.  Volunteers will continue to monitor levees and the City of Crookston Emergency Operation Center will continue to constantly monitor
