CROOKSTON SCHOOL BOARD TO HOLD ORGANIZATIONAL MEETING WEDNESDAY NIGHT

The Crookston School Board will hold an organizational meeting on Wednesday night, January 5, at 5:00 p.m. inside the Crookston High School Choir/Orchestra room. The meeting is open to the public and all are invited to attend. A closed session will immediately follow the meeting to conduct Superintendent Jeremy Olson’s mid-year evaluation.

CROOKSTON CHRISTMAS BIRD COUNT RESULTS

The 50th annual Crookston Christmas Bird Count held on Saturday, December 18th, tied the all-time record. 13 individuals braved the cold or watched their bird feeders. The Christmas Bird Count is coordinated by the National Audubon Society and the Minnesota Ornithologist Union. The volunteers counted birds in a designated 15-mile diameter circle southeast of Crookston
