SALVATION ARMY BELL RINGERS BUSY IN CROOKSTON

Volunteer bell ringers for the Salvation Army were out in Crookston this week.  Bell ringers included Garrett Bengston and Eli Sullivan from the Crookston Fire Department, and Cameron and Benjamin Halos from the University of Minnesota Crookston’s Delta Theta Sigma fraternity.

HOLIDAY LIGHTS GO UP AT MAIN STREET COURTYARD WITH HELP OF CROOKSTON FIRE DEPARTMENT

Crookston firefighters Chris Klawitter, Bob Magsam and Garett Bengtson used the ladder truck to hang lights Thursday morning from the evergreen tree downtown in the Main Street Courtyard space. They’re assisting the Crookston Rotary Club, who acquired lights during Otter Tail Power Company’s Holiday Light Exchange, to help spread Christmas/Holiday cheer.
