The Crookston High School seventh-graders held a food drive competition in their primetime classrooms last week for Kindness Week. The students brought in over 450 non-perishable food items that will be brought to the Care and Share in Crookston. The winning primetime was Ms. Ryan/Ms. Samuelson’s primetime bringing in 174 items.
The Construction Trades and Intro to Ag classes both took trips last week to visit local businesses. The Construction trades class visited Grand Forks Truss, a company that makes residential and commercial rafters and floor trusses. The Intro to Ag class also went out to visit and learn about the CHS/Northland Grain Terminal.
Last week students at Crookston High School spent time learning about the dangers, and addiction caused by vaping through classroom presentations by Polk County Public Health.
