20TH ANNUAL MR. CHS CONTEST WILL BE HELD SUNDAY AFTERNOON

BAND, STUDENT BODY SEND WRESTLERS ZACH BROWN AND LUCAS MEIER OFF TO STATE

Crookston High School held a send-off this morning for wrestlers Zach Brown and Lucas Meier.  The Marching Band joined them in a parade around the school while the student body lined the halls.   Brown, who will seek his 100th career win, and Meier will open the State Individual Tournament on Friday morning, March 1.  Chris

THE CROOKSTON SCHOOL BOARD WILL MEET MONDAY EVENING

The Crookston School Board will meet Monday evening at 5:00 p.m. in the choir/orchestra room at the Crookston High School.  The consent agenda includes approval of the February 11 meeting minutes, approval of current bills in the amount of $80,955.09, and approval of the employment agreement with Nancy Nottestad as Fiscal Services Director for 2017-2019.

CROOKSTON SPEECH TEAM PLACES 5TH AT EGF MEET, PROULX TAKES FIRST

The Crookston High School Speech team had five people reach the finals and the team finished fifth out of 11 teams at the East Grand Forks meet on Friday, February 15.  The following Crookston team members were awarded ribbons- 1st place – Victoria Proulx in Storytelling 2nd Place – Emily Gillette in Original Oratory 5th place
