CROOKSTON VISITOR’S BUREAU AWARDS FIRST GRANT, CONTINUES TO GROW

The Crookston Visitor’s Bureau met Thursday morning, awarding its first grant since the organization became its own entity. Board Chair Nell DeBoer said the board was eager to award the grant for Ox Cart Days. “We did give our very first grant out to – no, surprise – Ox Cart Days for the full $3,000,”

CONSTRUCTION TRADES CLASS WRAPPING UP WORK BY SIDING HOVEN LANE HOUSE

Students in the Construction Trades class are working on wrapping up one more major project before the end of the school year to put siding on the house they’re building on Hoven Lane. Instructor Travis Oliver said it’s crunch time as the number of days left to complete their work is down to single digits.

If you have driven by the Crookston High School on Fisher Avenue, you have probably noticed some landscaping work being done by students in the Landscape Design Class taught by Whitney Rupprecht.
