PARK BOARD TOURS CROOKSTON POOL WITH STAFF AND SOME INTERESTED SWIMMERS

The Crookston Park Board toured the Crookston Community Pool Monday afternoon along with a couple of staff members and some of the pool’s users.  Each member was presented with the budget that the Ways & Means Committee forwarded to the council for approval last week and there was a tour of the facilities.  Trish Erdman

CROOKSTON PARK BOARD WILL MEET MONDAY AT CROOKSTON COMMUNITY POOL

The Crookston Park Board will meet Monday afternoon at the Crookston Community Pool.  Following the approval of the May meeting minutes, the board will review the proposed Pool Budget for 2019.  And they will tour the pool and discuss possible upgrades.

COUNCIL SENDS GATEWAY OVERLAY DISTRICT BACK TO PLANNING COMMISSION

The Crookston City Council had a public forum scheduled for Tuesday night’s meeting to discuss the proposed Gateway Overlay District.  Councilmembers were the only ones to speak during the forum before voting to send the district back to the Crookston Planning Commission. Councilmen Jake Fee, Tom Vedbraaten, Bobby Baird and Steve Erickson all expressed concern
