The Crookston Pirate Boy’s Golf team shot a 340 to win the Fertile-Beltrami/Red Lake Falls Boy’s Golf Invitational today. The teams played nine holes at the Sand Hill River Golf Course in Fertile and nine holes at the Oak Knolls Golf Club in Red Lake Falls. Crookston’s 340 was seven strokes better than runner-up Fertile-Beltrami.
The Crookston Pirate Boys Golf team finally got their first round of the year under their belts and finished seventh place out of 10 teams at the Earlybird Golf Tournament at the par 64, 4,300 yard Lakeview Golf Course near Detroit Lakes.
