CROOKSTON PIRATE GIRLS BASKETBALL TEAM WINS FERGUS FALLS TOURNAMENT

The Crookston Pirate Girls Basketball team won the Championship of one of the brackets at a Fergus Falls tournament on Wednesday afternoon.  Crookston beat Walker-Hackensack-Akeley 43-33 in the first round.  In the semi-finals, they beat Hawley 45-27.  In the championship, they beat Grafton 35-24. Other teams in the bracket were Stephen-Argyle, Osakis, Dilworth-Glyndon-Felton, and Goodridge-Grygla.

The Crookston Pirate Girls Basketball team is competing in Wisconsin Dells today and Tuesday.  The fun trip includes six games with two played today and four on Tuesday.  The girls took in the water park activities on Sunday afternoon and evening.
