LITCHFIELD GIRLS TENNIS TOURNAMENT CANCELED DUE TO RAIN

The Crookston Pirate Girl’s Tennis team woke up early this morning (4:00 AM) to go to Litchfield to play in the eight-team Litchfield Invitational and after a few hours of driving, the tournament was canceled because of rain. Crookston will travel to Thief River Falls for the Northwest Quadrangular on Tuesday.

PIRATE GIRL’S TENNIS HANDS DL THEIR FIRST SECTION LOSS/FALL TO BEMIDJI

The Crookston Pirate Girls Tennis team handed the Detroit Lakes Lakers their first section loss of the season in a 4-3 victory at the Bemidji Lumberjack triangular at the Bemidji High School tennis courts. The Crookston Pirate Girls Tennis team picked up a big 5-2 victory over the East Grand Forks Green Wave in a match played in East Grand Forks.  The match was closer than the 5-2 score might indicate with Crookston winning three of their matches in three sets with all three of the third sets won
