HOLIDAY LIGHTS GO UP AT MAIN STREET COURTYARD WITH HELP OF CROOKSTON FIRE DEPARTMENT

Crookston firefighters Chris Klawitter, Bob Magsam and Garett Bengtson used the ladder truck to hang lights Thursday morning from the evergreen tree downtown in the Main Street Courtyard space. They’re assisting the Crookston Rotary Club, who acquired lights during Otter Tail Power Company’s Holiday Light Exchange, to help spread Christmas/Holiday cheer.

PARK BOARD RAISES RESERVED PARKING FEE FOR SPORTS CENTER, LIMITS TO ONE SPOT PER HOUSEHOLD

The Crookston Park Board met on Monday night and discussed the reserved parking spots at the Crookston Sports Center.  Parks and Recreation Director Scott Riopelle suggested the park board consider implementing a policy that limits spots to one per household unless all six reserved spaces aren’t sold.  They also considered the price with Mike LaFrance

AUDREY HARBOTT, ANNA HUCK RECOGNIZED AS ROTARY CHS STUDENTS OF THE MONTH

CROOKSTON ROTARY CLUB MAKES DONATION TO THE COVE YOUTH CENTER

The Crookston Rotary Club recently presented a donation to The Cove youth center after receiving a district grant for $5,000 that was matched by a major local donor. The Cove will be using the money to create a recording studio that will allow youth the ability to enhance their creativity by recording and producing music
