Crookston School Board to meet Monday, June 23

The Crookston School Board will meet on Monday, June 23 at 5:00 p.m. at the Highland School Large Group room. In the consent agenda, the board will be asked to approve the May 19 meeting minutes, and current bills. The board will also be asked to accept a resignation letter from Kindergarten teacher Megan Wright.

MAYOR’S COURTYARD MOVING CLOSER TO COMPLETION WITH THE HELP OF MANY

The new walking and biking hub located in the Mayor’s Courtyard on the corner of Main and Robert streets is moving closer to completion with recent input from the Downtown Crookston Development Partnership (DCDP).  The DCDP has been communicating with members of Bike Crookston and the City of Crookston as the project has moved forward.

Crookston Running Club Donates to Three Organizations

The Crookston Running Club hosted the Ox Cart Run during the Ox Cart Days festivities this summer.  They recently distributed the proceeds by donating to North Country Food Bank for the Highland School Backpack Food Program ($500), to the Shoe Angel Program ($500) and to Bike Crookston ($250).  Jason Brantner & Ron Dorman with Tara
