The Crookston High School finished off their regular season with great results in the Section 8A Subsection and Section speech meets. Phyllis Hagen was named the Sub-Section 8A Coach of Year at the subsection tournament. The Crookston High School Speech team had five people reach the finals and the team finished fifth out of 11 teams at the East Grand Forks meet on Friday, February 15. The following Crookston team members were awarded ribbons- 1st place – Victoria Proulx in Storytelling 2nd Place – Emily Gillette in Original Oratory 5th place
