The Crookston High School finished off their regular season with great results in the Section 8A Subsection and Section speech meets. Phyllis Hagen was named the Sub-Section 8A Coach of Year at the subsection tournament. The Crookston High School Speech Team had another strong showing as the results from the March 16 Perham meet show. Crookston placed 5th out of the 21 teams and 183 participants. The Crookston High School Speech team had five people reach the finals and the team finished fifth out of 11 teams at the East Grand Forks meet on Friday, February 15.
