Fifth and sixth-grade students from Highland Elementary School competed in the regional Math Masters of Minnesota Challenge in Bemidji. The fifth-grade team finished first place out of 25 teams. Competing were Haddie Halland, Elsie Mathews, Ella Capistran, Cohen Luckow, and Harrison Cameron. In the individual competition, there were 118 students competing, and Ella Capistran placed 2nd
